Simplistic Music is pleased to present their first release of 2021, a Winter sampler featuring a collection of artists for your listening pleasure. This release features four solid tracks from both emerging and flagship artists.

First up is a track from San Antonio's Colorblog, an up and comer that continues to climb as a venerable force on the global house stage. This track features something that we haven't been able to put words to; it's so different that it's left the team here at HQ baffled on how to genre-fy it. The only thing we can say is we hope you enjoy the zen-inspired melodies and intelligent drum play this track has to offer! Play it loud and prepare to practice your footwork!

The next track comes from Joe Ohms, one of our resident producers at Simplistic out of Little Rock AR. Bouncy beats, swirly and melodic deep house vibes, this tune checks all the boxes and had us bumping straight off the cue, with visions of dancing at an afterhours with our friends once again. We miss that! Trust us: Kiss This Guy doesn't disappoint.

Next up is a track from the man at the Simplistic helm himself, label founder J. Caprice, which finds him drifting into the deep with mesmerizing chimes, lo-fi chords, shuffling shimmy beats, a break we know broke a heart, and is strangely reminiscent of long Texas nights under the stars. Perfect for that end-of-the-night-come-down. tried, tested - approved!

The final track in this sampler is from Chicago’s own My Boy Elroy, who carry’s on the after-party vibes of “get home and chill” - no matter the occasion. Smooth down-tempo with a slight tinge of Jazz, our boy Elroy manages to make our spines tickle from head to toe - and you know how much we love that! #goosebumps

We have some amazing monthly releases planned for 2021, and we think you’ll really like what you hear from us this year.
